Academy Of Dance Arts
We are Brookfield's Original Dance Studio, and we are now celebrating our 38th year of sharing
the love of dance! The Academy of Dance Arts has won numerous awards over the years,
including those for 'Outstanding Work Children' and for teaching 'Everything Age Appropriate'.
Each member of our staff continues to uphold these honors every day in every class. The
Academy Of Dance Arts is a full service dance studio, offering classes for ages 3 through Adult,
many in beginner through advanced levels. Our facility features specially designed dance
flooring, properly equipped dance rooms, air conditioning, and a caring, well trained staff. We
have trained dancers who have gone on to dance in Ballet Companies, On and Off Broadway
shows, with National Touring Companies, and who have become studio owners and
choreographers.

Recently in a town wide contest, we have been voted Brookfield's Favorite Dance Studio, by
over a 500 vote margin! That is something we see as quite an honor. At the Academy of Dance
Arts, we strive to stay true to our reputation of offering the 'Widest Variety of Dance Styles' and
to keep to an 'Authenticity In Choreography', which are two additional awards we have received.
Our classes are proper, safe and progressive. Each complete class features a warm-up,
stretch, progressions, center work and combinations. Correct placement and technique are
stressed, along with proper dance attire and appropriate dance footwear. A variety of styles,
trends and techniques are offered in our class structure to help produce a more well-rounded
and better educated dance student, as well as a marketable dance professional.

of ours. We promote a friendly learning environment, and our classes are up to date,
informative, and enjoyable. The teachers are known to be organized and personable, and to
provide the right amount of fun and firmness to the class. There is special programming for
adults and tots, and for our competition team. We offer classes for those looking for
recreation, exercise, and socialization as well.

volunteer basis. For many years, our Irish Dancers entertained at the town's International
Cultural Festival, and have participated in the National Dance Day Celebration. We have
provided dancers for the opening and half time shows for The Harlem Globetrotters, and have
been featured in a MADE for TV episode for MTV. Our dancers have entertained at Kings
Island Paramount Park, South Street Seaport, and Disney. We have also been seen in The
Nutcracker On Broadway. As a community service each year, we bring dancers to many area
Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Centers, to entertain and to interact with residents.
Recently, we were seen performing for the Principal Soccer Club, and soon for the CT Suns.
We also sponsor a yearly recital performance, and house a successful competition team.
